This wine is bursting with pears, candied orange peel, candied ginger, honeysuckle,lemon zest, and golden delicious apples. There is also a definite herbal quality with notes of sage and thyme. Nice stone aspect adds minerality. The palate is dominated by a lost more of the lemon and herbs. The citrusy acidity continues through a long, quenching finish.
Yummy Australian Viognier! It would pair very nicely with many different foods.
