Meyer lemon hits the nose immediately, followed by fresh coconut, kiwi fruit, green apple, vanilla, honeysuckle, and slate. Upon the first sip, there is yellow grapefruit and orange peel along with more of the slate minerality. This wine has a buttery mouthfeel, but it still holds a nice level of aciditiy. The lingering finish is both citrus and floral with a slight bitter quality to keep it interesting.
It is reminiscent of a Viognier and would pair nicely with herb roasted chicken.
